How our pricing works

We publish starting-from ranges because a managing broker or owner should not need a meeting to learn the order of magnitude. Final quotes depend on the number of users, devices and systems, the state of your current environment and the scope you choose. We provide a written quote after a short scoping conversation, and we do not change it without your agreement.

All prices are in Canadian dollars. GST of 5% (or the applicable provincial tax) is added. New clients receive a 10% launch discount on their first engagement. There is no lock-in: after onboarding, work continues month to month, and you may stop with reasonable notice.

What is included in managed IT

Managed IT for a brokerage or real estate team includes monitoring, patching, endpoint protection, helpdesk, a security baseline of multi-factor authentication and encryption, onboarding and offboarding workflows, and a quarterly advisory review with a written roadmap. The lower end of the range suits small offices with a simple environment; the upper end suits multi-office firms with more systems and tighter response needs.

Hardware and software licences are quoted separately and, where we procure them for you, at cost. We do not take hidden margin on products.

Projects, assessments and retainers

Fixed-scope projects, such as a Microsoft 365 migration, an MLS and CRM integration, a network installation or a document-workflow redesign, start at $2,500. Larger projects are quoted according to scope, with a clear definition of deliverables and acceptance.

A brokerage cybersecurity assessment starts at $1,900 and includes a technical review, interviews, a risk-ranked findings register, a costed remediation roadmap and a readout. Advisory and vCIO retainers start at $1,500 per month and provide a senior technology advisor, quarterly planning, vendor oversight and reporting suited to a board or an owner.

Terms that protect you

There is no lock-in. You own your domains, accounts, licences and data from the first day. We document the environment we build, and if you decide to leave, we provide a handover. We do not hold your systems hostage, and we do not use proprietary tools that cannot be transferred.

Service targets, including response times, are objectives rather than guarantees and are stated in each engagement letter. We are open about what is and is not included, and we say so before work begins.

Comparing options honestly

When you compare quotes, ask what is included, who does the work, how quickly they respond, what they charge for projects and whether you can leave without penalty. Ask also whether the firm sells the products it recommends. A lower monthly price that excludes security, backups or onboarding will often cost more in the end.

If our proposal is more than you need, tell us. We would rather agree a smaller scope that fits than sell a larger one that does not.
