The ITRE Review
The ITRE Review
Long-form guidance for real estate professionals on fraud, compliance, integrations, connectivity and governance, reviewed by Ali Sedighi, MBA.
How to use the series
If you manage a brokerage, begin with the pieces on wire fraud, offboarding and BCFSA compliance workflows. If you run a development, read the article on site connectivity and the governance piece for asset managers. Strata council members will find the data governance article the most useful starting point, and property managers should read the cybersecurity article on tenant data.
Each piece ends with a short checklist, a list of questions and answers, and links to the services that address the subject. They are designed to be forwarded to a colleague or a council member and discussed at a leadership meeting.
The ITRE Review
These articles are written for managing brokers, owners, council chairs, developers and the advisors who work with them. Each takes a practical subject, such as wire fraud in BC conveyancing, FINTRAC record keeping or strata data governance, and sets out what to do in plain language, with a checklist you can take to a leadership meeting.
Guidance is reviewed by Ali Sedighi, MBA, and is dated on every page. It is general information, not legal advice, and we encourage you to consult your own lawyer and compliance officer. We update the articles as the landscape changes.
